Beata Długosz bio

Beata Długosz, born in 1978, lives and works in Kraków, Poland. Member of the Polish Photographers Association (ZPAF). She teaches photography at the Art Department of the Pedagogical University in Krakow. In 2010 she obtained her PhD in Photography at the Film School in Łódź (PWSTiTV). In 2005 was awarded a bursary from Kraków’s President for her achievements in photography. Her work can be seen in the collection of Kraków’s Museum of Photography. In her artistic approach she focuses on traditional black-and-white photography, experiments in camera-less photography and work combining photography and printmaking as well as photography and object art.
